Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1630 bis 1730 pm (Age group 7 to 12)

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1630 bis 1730 pm (Age group 12 to 16)

From age 16 the juniors can participate in our CTS Krav Maga classes for adults

​

Rates:           

N$ 100 per class - 8 classes payable in advance.

Once off entrance fee: N$ 400

​

Participants:     

ALL, kids and youngsters, seeking to improve their personal safety, and who want to gain both physical and mental strength.

​

Requirements:

Although a good physical fitness is of advantage, but not compulsory

​

Equipment:

A Judo or Karate dress. In addition, a mouth guard, groin guard, MMA gloves and a couple of punching pads are mandatory.

Graduations:         

The progress is permanently checked and tested during the training and the grades are awarded according to the progress in performance and confirmed by certificates. - On average, 6 to 8 months are required to achieve a full grading if the student turns up regularly for training and shows the required performance.

The training progress is shown as in judo or karate by awarding different belt colors.

About Kid's KravMaga+MMA:

In Junior KravMaga+MMA we practise Krav Maga as self-defense and mixed martial arts sport especially adjusted to this age group.

The classes are creating a solid base for a long and successful career in self-defense, Krav Maga, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and in other martial arts.  

We focus on perfecting the physical, tactical and technical skills of the juniors to a point, that getting into more advanced techniques and styles will be a smooth and quick process.

Junior's KravMaga+MMA is a light contact system when it comes to striking with very strict rules to eliminate or to reduce the risk of injury to a minimum.

The grappling techniques that we teach for self-defense, on the other hand, can be used safely with full force in sparring just like in judo, which is extremely important for the development of physical strength and fighting spirit.

Techniques we are teaching:

Grappling, using the best of Judo and Brasilian Jiu Jitsu for self-defence and competition fighting- adjusted to the needs and abilities of this age group.

Striking, using the best of Karate and Kickboxing for effective self-defense and competition fighting.

The advantages of Junior KravMaga+MMA:

• The training prepares the juniors for age-appropriate self-defence, as there are unfortunately attacks and harassment even in this age group - sometimes also by older children or even adults.

• It gives the opportunity to practise light-contact MMA Mixed Martial Arts, including kick-boxing, judo and jiu jitsu techniques with low risks of injuries.

• It develops ALL physical abilities, fitness and strength of a junior much more than the common martial arts (e.g. like judo or karate).

•  It is well known as an excellent tool to develop not only physical but also mental strength, self-confidence and self-dicipline.

• Because the juniors get used to fight (under controlled conditions) they tend to be calmer, more relaxed, less frustrated and less aggressive than other children and teens of their age group.

• It mentally prepares a junior at an early stage to handle “the tough sides of life” with self-confidence and a healthy fighting spirit.

• It is an important preparation and an excellent base to learn the "royal discipline" CTS Krav Maga later in life.
